Back up Your memory Card – Just Drag the entire contents into a folder on your computer or onto a memory stick. The card that comes with it will be cheap and they can get corrupted if you run out of battery and the system dies or if you have charging issues. This happened to several times across different devices
Problems I’ve Had
Battery Not Charging Properly
If your Battery stops charging (make sure you are not using a Usb C to C fast charger … doesn’t like them) Try taking the back off and unplugging the battery to reset it.
Memory Card Corrupting and ROM Stopped working / Dissapearing
Needs to be FAT 32
NES Emulator has awful screen overlay which you can’t turn off and save config (comes back every time emulator is restarted)

Installing Onion OS
Format your Memory Card – Needs to be FAT 32 … Any card over 32g will be ExFAT as default so you will need to format as FAT 32
RetroArch > .retroarch > system – Copy entire contents to – OnionOS > BIOS
Search for and Download “MAME 2003-Plus Reference: Full Non-Merged Romsets” the first hit on google should be the Internet Archive page with this romset on. You will need to use a Torrent app to download the Set (35.1GB)
Once Download …
Place all files in Rom Folder into the ROMS> ARCADE folder on you Onion OS Card
Place Samples folder into BIOS>mame2003-plus Folder
