I acquired one of these by accident and I absolutely love it. Totally changed my life.
Pens
LAMY AL-star – Nice stylus, chunky and weighty. Fountain pen vibes. Nibs are nice but very soft (softer even than the Staedtler Noris digital) Fits standard Remarkable nibs. (3 extra nibs)
Staedtler Noris digital – This does feel exactly holding a pencil. Nibs are soft (but not as soft as the LAMY) Get loads of extra nibs with the pencil
BEST NIBS
Lamy Original nibs are too soft (softer than the norris, almost brush like)
Remarkable nibs are amazing, feel like a sharpy / Fiberous feel … Expensive and wear out too easy
Kindle Scribe Pen nibs are the best of the bunch, reasonably priced, similar feel to Remarkable but wear a lot slower
Norris nibs are really soft with an almost rubber feel. They do not fit in any of the other pens and (and other nibs will not fit this) Really nice for drawing. Seem to have much more control over pressure sensitivity/ Line width. Don’t seem to ware out ? Been using mine for 6 months an have yet to change the nib
DONT BUY THE GENERIC “Remarkable Compatible” nibs on amazon/ebay … They are all solid plastic, even when they say they aren’t, and they fell like shit.
